Transfer module (TM), 傳送系統

        傳送系統，wafer 透過此系統傳進process chamber，進行製程加工，傳送路徑由Load port （放置FOUP的地方，Production wafer進入機台的入口），經由 ATM robot, aligner, Airlock, VTM robot進到chamber 進行process。

 ATM

ATM是Atmosphere Transfer module. 由FI (Facility interface), ATM robot, Aligner, Load Port 四部份組成：

 

1.     FI：內有正壓風扇(Fan Filter Unit, FFU)及HEPA濾網，為內部保持正壓，使FOUP開門後得以保持乾淨。

2.     ATM robot：廠牌為KAWASAKI，用來取放LP的wafer進入機台到Airlock。

3.     Aligner：或稱為Orienter，功能找出wafer notch（wafer邊緣的小缺角，作為定位用）。

 Load port module：

機台配置三個加載端口模塊Load和unload wafer進機進行加工處理。主要由兩大部份組成：

 

1）.  TDK Load port：處理FOUP RFID讀取、開關門動作的部份

2）.  TLP: TSMC load port，由廠商「京鼎」改裝，目的用來降低FOUP濕度，

Airlock

An airlock is a small room that is used to move between areas that do not have the same air pressure.

VTM

         VTM是Vacuum Transfer module，亦藉由Robot傳送wafer，廠牌為布魯克斯（Brooks），此處為真空，壓力預設90mT 。

 

EP005.附屬機台 -- Dry PUMP 真空機

 

乾式泵浦- Dry pump 

    主要是藉著高速轉子壓縮氣體或動能傳 遞將氣體排出,因為非接觸型,轉速高達數千至數萬 rpm,抽氣速率遠大於機械迴轉幫浦,用來製造真空環境。

    通常只用作粗抽,缺點是抽氣速率小,往往要並聯使用以提高抽氣速率

EP004.附屬機台 -- chiller (冷卻器）

 

Chiller

The TCU uses Fluorinert coolant (FC-3283) to prevent RF power from traveling through the coolant and shorting to ground. 

The TCU routes coolant to and from the lower electrode. The coolant enters through an inlet, is directed through channels in the seal plate, and exits through an outlet. 

The TCU features a single tank system, which maintains the electrode temperature. The temperature of the TCU tank is determined by a user-programmable TCU parameter setpoint. The TCU parameter setpoint is controlled by a thermocouple in the TCU tank. 

Due to thermo losses in the TCU lines, the electrode temperature may be slightly different than the TCU temperature. A separate electrode thermocouple allows you to monitor the electrode temperature.

工作內容

         設備工程師需具備上述特點，亦須針對以下幾點進行學習及訓練，簡單來說，必須對機器設備熟悉，才能藉由系統工具維護機台設備，使之穩定生產。

產業鏈定位

IC 的中文叫「積體電路」，在電子學中是把電路（包括半導體裝置、元件）小型化、並製造在半導體晶圓表面上。所以半導體只是製作 IC 的原料。因為是將電路縮小化，你也可以叫它「微電路 (microcircuit)」、「微晶片 (microchip)」、「晶片 (chip)」，也就是說，台灣媒體常稱的半導體產業鏈，正確一點來說應該叫 IC 產業鏈，包括「IC設計」、「IC製造」、「IC封裝」。

EP001.籃板王DIY日記，正式啟動

 

Lam 

上班時間太忙，所以只好應用下班時間，寫寫文章，

主要就是一個設備維修技師為自己留下的DIY日記。

除了工作記錄外，

好幾次較年輕的學弟問的問題，大部份都很簡單，

而這些簡單東西的原理先弄懂了，才有能力進一步操作

甚至解決問題

這稱為本質學能。

於是我想了這招，寫日記，記錄處理流程，

純粹交流分享觀念及思考邏輯，不是SOP...
